   What are Virtualized standalone browsers?
   Virtualized browsers run instantly on any Windows desktop. All browsers run as a single executable that runs instantly - no DLLs, data files, service installations, or runtime dependencies. The virtualized browsers allow the application environment, including filesystem, rendering engine and registry subsystems, to be isolated from the rest of your PC. Essentially running in a sandox, thus preventing the virtualized browsers from interfering with one another or with any other applications installed on your PC.
   Please note: Multi-Browser Viewer can only be installed on Microsoft Windows machines at this time.

How does Multi-Browser Viewer Work?

1. Click on the "Standalone browsers" tab or select a browser to launch from the drop down menu within Multi-Browser Viewer application. All Standalone browsers will also be available from the Windows Start menu.
   
   
2. Select the Standalone Virtualized Browsers that you would like to test in. Browsers load instantaniously and can run alongside each other. Each browser still uses its own, default rendering engine, as if it was running on it's own isolated machine.
   
   
3. Simply browse and test a web site as you would normally do. Now you can test pages on a local Intranet, pages secured by a login or token screen, as well as Javascript, Ajax and Flash interactivity. the only true way to really cross browser test and recommended before any major product launch.
   
   

1. Select the browsers and operating systems that you would like to compare or test. The Multi-Browser Viewer Network currently supports 50 browsers and 3 Operating Systems - Windows, Mac OS and Linux(Ubuntu).
   
   
2. Specify the web page URL that you would like to cross browser test or compare.
   
   
3. The Multi-Browser Viewer application connects to our Network and loads the URL in a network of machines, all loaded with the different browser versions.
   
   
4. A high quality, full page screen capture of the requested web page URL is taken.
   
   
5. The screen capture's are then downloaded and displayed locally in the Multi-Browser Viewer application.
   
   
6. The full page screenshots, HTML source code and a MHT file(HTML archive file) are all saved on the local machine in a time stamped folder so you can compare the URL over time.
   
   
7. Use Multi-Browser Viewer's HTML validation and HTML auto-correct features to fix layout and other HTML errors.
